she cut her hair and changed her outfit to look like a boy
The only time when Joan disguised herself as a male was when she was taken through British lines to meet with the Dauphin. She was dressed as a young paige. While she dressed in men's cothing on the battlefield, she did so because it was the only practical way to dress in a battle. Her soldiers knew exactly who she was.
On her trip to visit Price Charles she was disguised as a male Paige. Her hair was cut short and she wore the clothing of a man (or boy). Once she was given a position of command in the army she wore men's clothing as a necessity but not as a disguise. Her troops knew full well she was female.
She was said to be short, stocky, sunbrowned, with dark eyes, a red birthmark behind her left ear, and a light feminine voice. Her black hair was bobbed short. In the "Procès de Réhabilitation" (the notes of her trial) she is described as a short, sturdy woman, with black hair. She wore man's clothes. Her hair had been cut short all around, just like a man's. Portraits of her are not available, the only one she sat for is missing. Other pictures show her with long black or light brown hair ,this may have been the artist's best guess. According to Jean D'Aulon, Joan of Arc's steward, who often helped her to get in and out of her suit of armor and slept many times in the same room as Joan, described her as being beautiful, strong, and well-formed (shapely). The Duke D'Alencon, one of Joan's military commanders, described her in the same way. D'Aulon stated that he often saw Joan's naked legs and breasts when he had to dress her wounds in battle. He said he never felt lust for Joan, pretty as she was, because he thought it would be shameful to have such feelings for such an inspiring and religious person. Every description of Joan's hair was that it was short and black. Her eyes were described as "large, dark, and grave". Adrian Harmand, a French scholar, discovered an order by the Duke of Orleans for several articles of clothing for Joan, of which one was a robe "of fine Brussels cloth" of 80 cm. in length. From this (a robe would go from Joan's shoulders to her knees), he determined Joan's height to be 1.58 meters, or about 5 feet, two inches, which would be short for a woman today but for the latter Middle Ages about normal or even a little above average.
She was a female fighting in a male-dominated army. She was still a teenager while most soldiers were much older. She wore mens clothing and cut her hair short like that of a man. She was a simple peasant while most soldiers came from noble families. She claimed to receive messages and visions from God and the saints.

Joan of arc claimed to have visions of Saint Michael, Saint Catherine, and Saint Margaret; telling her to cut her hair, wear men's clothing, and pick up the arms (start fighting)
Joan of Arc wore white armour, so that would be a good start. You could also tuck your hair in the back of your shirt because she cut hers short to look like a man.She didn't wear a helmet because she wanted her face to be seen. I hoped ive helped :D
She cut her hair for a new movie she is filming. Kristen had to look like Joan Jett in the movie called The Runaways. I don't like it she has black hair and it's very short.

Short hair cuts are coming back into style and this summer is the time to cut your hair. The pixie cut is popular this season and so is the bob hair cut. The key is to have someone who is experienced with short hair cut actually cut your hair.

She has had it cut and has dyed it blond. Her hair is now cut very short like a boy.
If your hair is at the length you can cut your bangs to. I don't see why not.
Short hair styles are usually considered as a cut above the nap of the neck. In order to have a short hair style, one must either cut ones hair or wear a wig.
Some people like short hair and they cut it, while some people like long hair, and don't cut it.
