People supported Augustus Heinze over Standard Oil primarily due to his portrayal as a champion of the little guy and a competitor against monopolistic practices. Heinze's independent copper mining operations in Montana offered an alternative to the dominance of Standard Oil, which many viewed as an oppressive monopoly. His efforts to challenge the established order resonated with those who believed in fair competition and economic opportunity. Additionally, his local investments and community engagement helped him garner grassroots support against the corporate giant.

The Augustus of Prima Porta was carved to commemorate Augustus's diplomatic victory over the Parthians in 20 BC. I hope this helps people!
There is not any official celebration dedicated to Augustus Caesar in today's world but I still celebrate his birthday, though.
Augustus' closest allies were Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa and his wife Livia. His supporters were the Caesarians, the people who had supporters Julius Caesar. However, Augustus was also supported by the people at large because he was the man who was able to guarantee peace and stability in Rome and in her empire.

It was originally called Sextilis, but it was renamed Augustus (after Augustus Caesar). Oh really thats really nteresting - thank you Adamlance. Yes so if people are learning original Latin then its - Sextilis But if they are learning Modern then its Augustus!
People are free to think what they want. If they've been brought up in a society which looks down on other peoples religion, the result is that they will treat others differently. Take a look at most religions, they do not support or will not openly support gay people. They will only look down on people or have a double standard toward gay people since it is what they have been taught. - That is the society that they have been brought up in and fortunately it is a double standard to which the attitude of it is changing.
