Yes. They are only concerned if you are an ancestor to someone who fought in the war.
Someone who fought for independence in the American Revolution is known as a "Patriot." Patriots were colonists who opposed British rule and advocated for independence, often participating in protests, battles, and the Continental Congress. Key figures among them included George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin. Their efforts ultimately led to the formation of the United States as an independent nation.
It was a very bloody war, fought by brothers who served on different sides. Both sides use Blacks to fight. Someone finally beat the British.

can someone please give me a straight answer of two examples of economic & geographic events in american history
I feel this question is too vague. What time period are you talking about? Modern times? During the 19th century? During the founding of the nation? Or are we talking about social revolutionaries or reformists? Maybe during the Women's Suffrage Movement? Or the Civil Rights Movement? Or the social unrest leading up to (and following) the Civil War? I'm guessing you probably are referring to the period of the American Revolution, but honestly I don't feel like writing a detailed response to that when you might actually be asking about social reform. Also if you are talking about the American Revolution it would help if you narrow the focus of your question, to maybe something more specific like women's rights or slavery. An answer to the broad question of "views of society of the Revolutionaries in the time period around the American Revolution" could easily be the topic of someone's history thesis. In fact just the focused questions about slavery or women's rights could be the subject of a thesis also, and probably already have been the subject of several.
Freedom for: To gain freedom for someone or something who is being enslaved or controlled, to deliver freedom to someone or something who's not free, to make someone or something free. Example: During the American Revolution, the patriots were fighting to gain freedom for the American people (or for the United States). Freedom from: To be free from someone or something which is the source of oppression or control. Example: During the American Revolution, the patriots were fighting to gain freedom from Great Britain.
A revolutionary is a radical supporter of political or social revolution against society, regardless of ethics and morality. A revolutionary is in many ways similar to an anarchist, one who favors abolishing any form of government not of his/her choosing in spite the wishes of the majority.
