There are several reasons that Israel came out on top in almost every Arab-Israeli engagement and almost always increased their land holdings (while diminishing those of Arab States).
1) Agreeing to an Armistice while ahead: Israel was always open to ceasing fire regardless of whether they were doing well or poorly, even during the Arab-Israeli War of 1948-9 when the very existence of a contiguous state was in question. The Arab States, by contrast refused to settle while they were ahead believing that they should push their luck. Israel was winning the War by 1949 (when the Armistice occurred), but chose to cease fire while they were still doing well instead of gambling their lead.
2) Modern Military Tactics and Armies: Israel used cutting edge tactics and (when it was available) more advanced military technologies. As a result, they were better able to fight larger Arab forces and still come out on top. Recently disclose documents show that Israel had a better understanding of the terrain in Sinai than the Egyptians.
3) Actual Will to Win: The Arab States while desiring the win, wanted the win for its secondary effects. The defeat of Israel would grant more legitimacy to Arab Socialism, take people's minds off of their economic problems, become a rallying point and so on. Many Arab leaders spent more time preparing the Victory Parades than the marches that would get them there. Israeli forces, by contrast, needed to win to survive as a nation. The win itself, and not ulterior motives drove Israelis to fight.
4) Need Every Win: This is similar to the previous answer, but slightly different. Israel is such a small country that a single loss could be disastrous. Thus, the Israeli mentality is to win every battle and every war or else all could be lost. The Arab States conversely found small (and large losses) to be acceptable while waiting for the opportune moment to get the one victory they need. This makes the Arab States less concerned about any single loss.
5) Expansionist Defense: The more territory Israel controls, the more effectively it can defend any of its territory. Therefore, a lot of Israeli strategic planing has been over how to increase strategic Israeli holdings.

The Six-Day War in June 1967 was primarily a conflict between Israel and its neighboring Arab states—Egypt, Jordan, and Syria—stemming from longstanding territorial and political tensions. Israel launched a preemptive strike due to fears of imminent attacks from these nations, resulting in significant territorial gains, including the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and Golan Heights. The conflict led to a complicated aftermath, with Israel's occupation of these territories creating ongoing disputes and resistance from the Palestinian population and surrounding Arab states. Compromise efforts have often revolved around land-for-peace proposals, though achieving lasting peace has proven elusive.
Indecisive battles are conflicts where neither side achieves a clear victory or defeat. They often involve prolonged fighting with no significant territorial or strategic gains. These battles can result in high casualties and have a significant impact on both sides, but they ultimately fail to bring about a conclusive outcome.
Ancient Israel was significantly smaller than Ancient Egypt, but Ancient Israel was actually wider than Ancient Egypt was since the deserts on either side of the Nile River could not be easily cultivated.
It is a difficult question to answer. If we review ancient history, Israel was there 5 thousand years go till about year 0. In early 20th century Israeli was mainly populated by tribes of Arab nations and Israeli settlers, and in 1948 the UN declared a two countries solution in Israel for the Jewish and the Palestinians. Therefore, Israel declared independence - followed up by war declaration from most of the Arab nations around Israel and the Arab tribes living in Israel - later be called Palestinians (by the name of the place - Palestine), Israel won the war while conquering a few areas in Israel. Another reference can be made to the name "Philistines" - which is an ancient word from the bible describing invader tribes from around Israel. Philistines in biblical Hebrew means invaders. Often times, the Palestinians are identified with the Philistines since the Roman Name "Palestine" was derived from the word "Philistine".

The words Israel, Israelite or Israel's are mentioned in the Bible over 2,000 times. Additionally, Note the word Israel and Jerusalem are often used interchangeably. Also context is important. Israel and Jerusalem sometimes refers to the land itself and most often to the people of the land. Israel also refers to the Jacob (son of Isaac) who had his name changed to Israel.

Israel and the United States started on friendly terms with the United States approving the 1947 Partition Plan. However, until the Six-Day War of 1967, the United States did not see Israel as a country that would exist in the long-term because of Arab belligerence against the State. After Israel's stunning victory in that war, the United States became Israel's primary Western Ally and began to trade technologies, both civilian and military, with Israel. The United States government, therefore takes a pro-Israel stance in international politics and is often seen as Israel's backer. As a result, the United States opinion on the conflict is often harsher on Palestinian Terrorism than the Israeli Occupation.
so they are extra protected from war The US is allied with Israel because: 1. Both countries have a vast number of nuclear missiles 2.
