As with all tribes, their homes were constructed using materials readily available. Usually the style of homes had spiritual and historical significance to the tribe. The wigwam made of brush or bark laid over the wooden frame was in the form of the sacred circle. It was practical as it used the wood abundantly available at that time and provided shelter that stood up to the worst of weather.
