However, in mythology, there was a beauty contest between three goddesses: Hera, Aphrodite, and Athena. They called upon a guy named Paris to judge. Each of the goddesses promised him something if he chose them. Finally, Paris couldn't resist Aphrodite's offer of giving him the most beautiful girl in the world, and chose her. The problem was... she was already married. The fight, apparently, was all over a beautiful girl named Helen.
