he never got his picture taken because he thought the flash would take his soul

Crazy Horse wasn't in the civil war. He was in the Little Bighorn war of Montana, he was the one with many others who killed General Custer. He never allowed his picture to be taken, he though it stole your soul.
Crazy Horse never wanted to have his picture taken. Even after all those fights, the government wanted to keep peace so they would take them to the city and show them around. Afterwords they would get their picture taken. Crazy Horse never wanted any of it. So the only picture today we have of him is a sketch that his sister described to an artist after he died.
No, Crazy Horse was his name. His name in Lakota is Tȟašúŋke Witkó, which literally means "His Horse is Crazy" or "His Horse is Spirited".
A picture. Usually taken from an instamatic camera.
You can look at a picture of it taken from space, or the moon

Yes, you have the right to refuse to have your picture taken at the doctor's office.
In 1939, a group of American Indians requested that master sculpter Korczak Ziolkowski to sculpt the Crazy Horse monument. Since he was visiting the Pine Ridge Reservation where he was told the story of Crazy Horse, it could be argued that they were Oglala. Mr. Ziolkowski vowed that he would take no government money to build this monument to all Indians so over the years it has been sculpted from private donations. Ziolkowski died in 1982, but his wife and 10 children have taken over finishing the project.
Not quite. It should say 'This picture was taken when she was 1 years old.'
