This contributor will attempt an answer, in order to get the ball rolling, and post

something to which others can react. It is hoped that others who wish to weigh in

on the subject will react reasonably and responsibly, rather than merely vandalize

the site.

This contributor has some knowledge of the subject in one direction, very little

first hand "on-the-ground" knowledge in the other direction.

The people of Israel do not hate Palestinians as a blanket policy. A significant

number of Israeli citizens, including elected members of the Knesset (Israel's

parliament) is comprised of Arabs including Palestinians. But Israelis do tend to

regard with suspicion masses of people who cheer Israeli misfortune, launch

rockets and suicide bombers against Israeli civilians, and train their children

from birth to believe that Israel is their enemy and that Jews are apes and pigs.

It is my impression that Palestinian people hate Jews in general, hate the concept

of a Jewish nation, and hate the fact that the people of Israel seriously intend for

their country to continue to exist.
