Cause if it had one it would be a monoplane

and if it had three then it would be a triplane AnswerThis was how they designed airplanes. In the early days they build aircraft out of wood and cloth that was glued to the wooden frame. They knew they needed light-weight material. This type of design was not strong enough to make a long, slender wing that could hold the weight. So they built 2 wings and used Cables to make the two wings more rigid. The cables are what give it strength, but it also produces more drag. It wasn't until they learned how to design stronger spars that supported the wing did they finally begin to make monoplanes. They also made biplanes and triplanes that did not require cables.

What is an areoplane with two sets of wings?

An aeroplane with two sets of wings is known as a biplane. Biplanes typically feature one set of wings stacked above the other, which can enhance lift and improve maneuverability at lower speeds. They were commonly used in early aviation and are characterized by their distinctive appearance and often rugged design. Although modern aircraft predominantly use monoplanes, biplanes are still popular in aerobatics and vintage aviation.

What are facts about the biplanes?

Biplanes are a type of fixed-wing aircraft that feature two sets of wings, one above the other. They were popular during the early 20th century and were used for various purposes including military combat, air races, and passenger transportation.
