There are several reasons I have found that people fight change. 1. Fear of change or the unknown. (I don't know what will happen but I probably won't be good.) 2. Fear of loss. 3. Fear of failure. (why try...I'd only be disappointed) 4. It moves them out of their comfort zone. (it take too much energy to change. At least with this situation I'm comfortable with it.)
