The battlefield was sanctified by the blood of the men who died at the battle. Lincoln and the other speakers could only use words to sanctify it.

What if John Wilkes booth missed the shot that killed Lincoln?

Historians are still debating this today. In my opinion as a historian, I believe that the ease of Reconstruction that President Johnson began before Radical Reconstruction would have happened under Lincoln. I also believe that he would have not pardoned top-ranking officials, but also would not have prosecuted them. Jefferson Davis certainly would not have lived in a prison for two-plus years. The Radical Republicans rose to power claiming two parts: 1) to avenge the losses of Union men on the battlefield, and 2) avenge the loss of Abraham Lincoln. If Lincoln had not been assassinated, there is reason to believe that he would have been able to control the Congress better than Johnson did. There is also debate as to if Lincoln would have survived his second term in any case. There is a large contingent of people who believe that Lincoln suffered from Marfan Syndrome. This elongates the bones, especially in the arms and legs. It affects the heart, lungs, and central nervous system. There are also theories that he suffered from other genetic problems similar to Marfan. The simple answer is, unfortunately, that we will never know for certain.
