Prior to and also during World War II, Hitler blamed most of Germany's (and even the world's) troubles on Jews for a variety of reasons, claiming that they had secret influence on world politics, had infiltrated the world's banking system, and even that they carried special diseases. Fundamentally, however, it is clear that his hatred of the Jews came from some basic, deeply ingrained, and severe prejudice.
