Benjamin Franklin invented loads of things to do with electric. He invented the lightening rod, bifocals, the Franklin stove and the odometer. Even though there are lots and lots more. These are just some of the most famous and great things he did invent. Benjamin Frankilin was a very great man.

He didn't actually invent electricity. He did clarify the point that lightning was a form of electricity and he did many experiments- he was the one who assigned positive and negative charges, for example. But electricity is more of a natural force and didn't require "inventing".
