JEB Stuart was important because of his ability to move troops, in a rather fun, but proper way. JEB, leading cavalry, was one of the more fun and energetic generals. The other thing was that through out his military career, he was always in front leading troops. Despite being a major general, he never allowed himself to use that privallage that much. He led troops in to battle, and fought just as they did. This was, as a matter of fact, how he died. JEB was all around just a good soldier.
