People need to be able to worship; or to change religions such as when they do not feel safe in their religion, or they get interested in another religion's history so they decide to convert.

because people who found or live here first in America came from difference places. and 2nd of all, in Europe people, especially in Britain who wanted people 2 convert to the church of England and some did not convert so they were treated harshly, so they would have 2 escape, in the early day of exploration era, people came to US to escape people who were attacking them.

Freedom of Religion was the main reason the Pilgrims came over to the Newfoundland. (Otherwise known as the U.S.)

Freedom of religion for me means the freedom from religion. I will finally be free of the regular condescending behaviors that have been historically associated with religions that promote bigotry and animosity against those who choose to believe differently. I hope to be finally free of religious prejudices that unjustly direct the social policies of Governments.
