Hatshepsut became Pharaoh of Egypt primarily due to her unique position as the daughter of Thutmose I and the widow of Thutmose II, allowing her to claim the throne through both bloodline and marriage. After her husband's death, she initially served as regent for her stepson, Thutmose III, but eventually declared herself Pharaoh, adopting male titles and imagery to assert her authority. Her reign was marked by significant economic prosperity and monumental building projects, which further solidified her legitimacy as a ruler. Hatshepsut's successful rule challenged traditional gender roles in ancient Egypt, enabling her to maintain power in a predominantly male-dominated society.
Hatshepsut was an ancient Egyptian queen and pharaoh, so her nationality would be Egyptian.
yes, she did. She was chief wife to the pharaoh(her brother)for years and when he died she decided she liked it so she proclaimed herself pharaoh.
some people thought that she was not strong enough to be a pharaoh. so people tried to fight her. but she had lots of strong people on her side so Hatshepsut stayed pharaoh. But lots of men were jealous of her and killed her in the last year of her reign.
They only know about what pharaohs do so that makes them be part of the pharaoh family
The answer is Hatshepsut. Hatshepsut was one of few women to rule Egypt. Once her husband, Thutmose the second, died in 1504 B.C. He had left a son who was too young to rule. So, Hatshepsut made herself Egypt's new pharaoh. She had fooled everyone, making them think she was a man. She did this by, wearing a false beard, dressing as a man, and carried all the rituals of a king. Hatshepsut did this because no one would want to bow to a woman.
queen hatshepsut of the new kingdom
Her father died and her stepson was to young to become king so she became the regent for her stepson. After a while she became Pharaoh but when her stepson became older he became Pharaoh.
he was a pharaoh so he traded with other places

I'm sorry for correcting you, but Hatshepsut was born 1508 B.C so its impossible for her to rule in 1503 B.C. no offense but.... when your going to answer something when someone needs the answer and you don't actually know the answer.
One thing was that she pretended that she was a boy so that she could be a Pharaoh!
yes, she did. She was chief wife to the pharaoh(her brother)for years and when he died she decided she liked it so she proclaimed herself pharaoh.
She helped establish more trade routes with other countries helping Egypt flourish. Plus Hatshepsut didn't become pharaoh cuz' she wanted too so maybe she didn't do much, but it wasn't her fault she became pharaoh.
The first lady pharoah is Hatshepsut.

Pharaoh Hetshupsut promoted trading through out Egypt and in parts of Africa. She also was the first woman pharaoh.
It was King Thutmose the third. The reason is queen Hatshepsut was only a regent for him because he was too young to rule. So he was designated as pharoah even before her. But when she died of unknown cause Thutmose became pharaoh.
