The Industrial Revolution started in Britain in the mid-1700s. British inventors developed new machines that transformed the textile industry. Samuel Slater was a skilled mechanic in a British textile mill, the spinning wheel by Richard Arkwright and also the rotary machine (which used steam) by Matthew Boulton and James Watt.
James Watt (1736-1819 CE) had two partners throughout his career. His first partner was John Roebuck, an inventor. In 1775, Roebuck and Watt parted ways and Watt began working with Matthew Boulton.
Before James Watt died in 1819, it is estimated that around 1,200 steam engines had been built. Watt's improvements to the steam engine in the late 18th century significantly enhanced its efficiency and practicality, leading to widespread adoption in various industries. His partnership with Matthew Boulton and the establishment of the Boulton & Watt company played a crucial role in the proliferation of steam engine technology.

I can't find anything on this, so please answer it for me!!!!!!!!!!
Matthew Boulton College was created in 1957.
Matthew Boulton was a key figure in the development of steam engines, primarily through his partnership with engineer James Watt. Boulton provided the financial support and business acumen necessary to commercialize Watt's innovations, including improvements to the steam engine design that increased efficiency and practicality for industrial use. His Soho Manufactory in Birmingham became a leading site for the production of steam engines, significantly contributing to the Industrial Revolution and the widespread adoption of steam power in various industries.
Matthew Boulton became famous because he invented the steam engine.
James Watt designed the Boulton & Watt Steam Engine whilst Matthew Boulton manufactured it. He is famous for his partnership with James Watt.
Matthew Boulton
Matthew Boulton played a crucial role in helping James Watt perfect the steam engine by providing the financial backing and resources necessary for experimentation and development. As a successful industrialist, Boulton established the partnership that allowed Watt to focus on engineering improvements without the burden of financial constraints. Together, they founded the manufacturing company Boulton & Watt, which commercialized the steam engine, ultimately revolutionizing industries and transportation during the Industrial Revolution. Their collaboration combined Watt's innovative engineering with Boulton's business acumen, facilitating the widespread adoption of steam power.

Richard Arkwright's friends included prominent figures such as Josiah Wedgwood, Matthew Boulton, and James Watt. They were fellow industrialists and entrepreneurs who supported each other in their business ventures and technological innovations during the Industrial Revolution in Britain.
I think he provided Watt with the funds to make his steam engine......
