Octavian took power from Marc Antony because Antony divorced Octovia for Cleopatra and Octavian saw it as an insult. So Octavian set war on Antony but he escaped back to Egypt with Cleopatra. There the two committed suicide so they wouldn't be taken as prisoner by Octavian. Octavian then became Rome's sole rule.

A triumvirate is "three men" so the list is a short one. The second triumvirate was made up of Lepidus, Antony and Octavian. Lepidus, tried to overthrow Octavian, but was overthrown by Octavian and he was exiled (in luxury). Antony engaged in a civil war with Octavian, lost and committed suicide. Octavian became Rome's first emperor and received the title Augustus.
