Sometimes but most of the time if you confessed you were spared. They did this so you could keep up accusations and this way the Salem witch craft trials continued.
The Japanese Internment camps were so difficult because the Japanese people being kept there were American citizens. They weren't treated especially harshly, but the fact that Americans were being kept against their will was disturbing
That's not really a question, but it was obviously in 1690, and The story started off with lady's dancing in the forest, and then people believing they are witches, and then they go and start accusing people that who they have a grudge against, such as Abagail Williams, accused John Proctor's wife that she was a witch so that she could have the chance to have another affair with John Proctor. Than the hole town is scared of being a witch and the only way to get out of the accusations was to accuse other people of being a witch or admitting it. Hope this helped.
the Sparta were warriors so they looked down upon the Athenians as being weak. The Athenians were educated and schooled so they looked down upon the Spartans as being uneducated
The Salem Witch Trials happened in 1692. That's when a bunch of dumb girls started accusing so many innocent people of being witches. You should research more on this topic. Or read The Crucible by Arthur Miller.
They would submerge them in water and if they drowned they were not a witch, but if they survived they were said to be a witch so they would then burn them. Also if you accused a person of being a witch, that was often good enough evidence that they were.
Not really ... Horoscope are written so broadly that they may just be for anyone ... you just have to read the right one on the right day ...
to show that their not witches and that they weren't included with the witch everyone was scared for their lives and if you didn't turn up you were blameed of either being involved with the burned witch or a witch yourself so it's either watch people being killed or or get killed yourself which one would you rather do?
The witch rankings go as follows: So-And-So the Infallibly Good Witch/Warlock, So-and-So the Good Witch/Warlock, So-and-So the Nice Witch/Warlock, So-and-So the Mean Witch/Warlock, So-and-So the Evil Witch/Warlock, and So-and-So the Atrociously Evil Witch/Warlock. Obviously, the highest rankings would be the Infallibly Good Witch/Warlock and the Atrociously Evil Witch/Warlock, depending on what type of witch/warlock transformed you (although you can always change alignments). :-) There is also a neutral witch/warlock, but I don't know what the title is. Hope that helps! =)
You can deny him access. He is evicting you anyway, so he has no lawful reason to enter your premises unless there is an emergency. What could he do if you deny him, evict you again?
Deny is a verb, so basically, "I deny that", where I or any other pronoun can be used, and then you need a subject too. Mike denies not being home at midnight. She was denied an extension on her deadline.
In the sentence, "Hey, look at that witch!", 'witch' is a person or thing, so it is a noun. In the sentence, "I am going to grab that forked branch and witch over there." In this case, 'witch' refers to doing something, so it is a verb.
The dwarf was always with the White Witch so he is the one
being attentive and more patience, so that it will not be more difficult to understand.

Along with the rest of the accusers, Mercy Lewis pretty much disappears from records after the trials so it is difficult to figure out her fate.
Yes, I believe so. The question is...to be or not to be a witch.....yes, that is the question.
