This is one of the most silly subjects I think there is to inquire about... First of all calendars where, and still are an important part in ALL religions. People of all cultures, races, and religions throughout the history of Mankind has used calanders to chart the birth and death of their gods, and special feasts, to chart prophecies, and even the 'BEST' times to do things like eat, drink, and celebrate... The Mayan calendar 'FAD' is very, very silly when compared to the actual 'FACTS' regarding the calander, which is no more then any other cultures calander in all of human history. A very colorful time piece.... Lets take a look at just a few modern examples: Christmas (dec 25), Halloween (Oct 31), and what about Thanksgiving???? These are dates on a calander and something happens on them every year. so...I 'Predict that in five years EXACTLY on the date of December 25, on the JULIAN CALANDER that a massive amount of people will over eat, over drink, waste their money on junk, and worship a tree...Lets see if I'm correct.... Who knows, i just might be.
