no one has answerd this question no one know y it can be their weeping no one knows

They were feared due to their use of perfect grammar and syntax. it can be deadly when someone can understand what your trying to say.

Depends on who you mean. Their enemies feared them because they were highly trained, had hi-tech armour and weapons*and believed that the greatest honour in life was to die in battle. This meant that not only did they have superior technology, but they also went in to battle with no fear of death, to the point that if they were disarmed and cornered by the enemy they would rather kill themselves than have the enemy do it(only a dishonourable combatant wouldn't allow this).

Regular Japanese people feared them for the same reasons, but also, because the samurai were the only people allowed to carry and use weapons. As well as this was the Japanese honour system, which meant a peasant could be decapitate for making eye contact with a samurai.

Finally, their armour was designed to look scary as hell. Find some pictures of samurai, then imagine that running at you with a sword that could cut you in half, literally.

*For the time, but the Katana is arguably still the greatest sword ever to be made
