why you no use grammar? The Earth has a moon because while our planet was still a giant ball of boiling liquid metals, inhospitable for any form of life, a massive meteor hit it. This meteor tore massive amounts of liquid rock off the face of the Earth, most of which remained close enough to remain in orbit of our planet. This liquid soon piled together, as water on glass when two droplets get to close together. After rotating around the Earth, this ball eventually became circular, due to gravity, and hardened. And that is how the moon came to be.

Can a moon have a moon that has a moon?

Whenever we send a spacecraft to the Moon it spends time orbiting the Moon. While it is in orbit, it is a 'moon' or satellite to our Moon. The Earth revolves around the Sun, the Moon revolves around the Earth, and a natural or artificial satellite can revolve around the Moon. Presumably, somewhere in the universe, there could be a moon with a moon with a moon.
