They have predicted the world will end before, many times and it didn't happen, so what makes you think the world will end this time. For all we know the people who wrote the calender just got board of writing the calender or ran out of space to write it. In the Bible it says that on one knows the date or the hour of when the world will end. Also, how could the Myans know. They are people just like the rest of us, and probably just made a guess on when the world will end. Just because a guess is old doesn't make it right.
