Humans have a capacity, as a species, for empathy. They can make judgment calls and make exceptions to the rules. A computer will never be able to form lasting relationships, though they may be able to carry on simple conversations.
Take for instance the bots here on Wiki Answers which help to spot inappropriate content. They cannot determine when a word is being used as profanity or when it is being used for other reasons. They cannot understand whether a random string of numbers is actually gibberish, or whether it is a math problem. They only do what they are programmed to do and cannot realize when there are valid exceptions.
Because computers have boundaries/limits on what actions they can perform due to artificial intelligence, they can't do some specific things. Here is a small list of what they can't do from the top of my head. In a few years, computers/technology will advance to the point where this list is meaningless. This answer was written in 2009. *They are not human beings so it is impossible for them to comprehend feelings *They can not perform 50 GHz per core as of 2009 * Computer CPU's require cooling from fans/liquid cooling * Since human beings have programmed computers they will only do the functions that the programmer has laid out for them. * Self-maintenance- computers require permission from the owner to download virus software/remove malicious viruses. Those are just a couple of things that computers can't do. In a few years from now, this information will need to be updated. -MichelleLynn
NO, humans created the computers and humans put the information on the computers the computers have no thinking ability what so ever... the information you see on a website that you learn from is not the computer teaching you its the person who created the site that is teaching you.
a great man doesn't take advantage of lesser beings and doesn't suck up to people with greater authority
Computers has changed the world by making it easier to communicate due to social networking sites, such as Facebook,Twitter, and Myspace. Although MySpace died a couple of years ago. : ) HOPE I HELPED!
There are many questions that computers cannot answer. Here is just a sample:The Halting ProblemKolmogorov complexityThe Wang Tile ProblemAny reading comprehension question"What is the purpose of sleep?""Does at least one god exist?""What is the afterlife like?""Does Hell or a lake of fire exist?"When will human beings stop hating each other?""How can we eliminate racism once and for all?"As a bonus, current computers cannot factorize this number.135066410865995223349603216278805969938881475605667027524485143851526510604859533833940287150571909441798207282164471551373680419703964191743046496589274256239341020864383202110372958725762358509643110564073501508187510676594629205563685529475213500852879416377328533906109750544334999811150056977236890927563
Yes
Human Beings will be replaced by robots
Calculation, Both need energy for proper functioning.
The Bible explains the reason for death in human beings as a consequence of sin and disobedience towards God.
They improve the way of life for all beings who can at least set one up.
because it can get u really sick
the computer can outperform human beings in speed, memory and accuracy but still the computers has limitations
only human beings as far as i am aware.... but im sure all that could change!!
both computer and humans can do work and solve problems in mathematics
The only mammals that use computers are human beings. No other mammal or animal is advanced enough to use a computer.
IT COULD BE BECAUSE THE COMPUTERS ARE WORKING WELL IN THE WORLD AND THE FUTURE COMPUTERS COULD BE BETTER THAN THE OLD ONES or it could be the same
Computers have no knowledge and don't know anything, per se. A computer is a storage device of information that can be accesed by the user. All the information that is stored in computors is input by human beings.
