The battleground of Waterloo looks just like a small farm
A battle in Iraq looks just like many kinds of wars or battle but it depends on how many people are in battle.
The allied armies were concentrating in Belgium preparatory to an invasion of France, when Napoleon attacked. Anyway, look at the history of Europe, Practically all the wars were fought in Belgium.
The Waterloo battlefield is composed (roughly) of two ridges between a valley. At the southeast end of the field is La Belle Alliance, the ridge used by French forces during the battle. At the other side of the valley is the ridge used by British forces. The Hougmont and La Haye Sainte farms are in the middle of the valley and were fought over quite heavily during the battle. It is usually lush and green as is most Belgian countryside. During the battle, though, rain had made parts of the field quite muddy. See the related link for a view from the British lines looking over the valley.
Not much different to what it looked like before; although Hastings gives it name to the Battle, it was actually fought at Senlac Hill, 6 miles North-West of Hastings, near the modern-day town of Battle.
Do you mean did he have someone who looked like him? Don't think so. Never have read anything stating that idea.
