Sometimes not very well. LOL. But then, I'm not sure Arthur would have had much choice. Knighthood wasn't a thing one earned, despite how our modern minds want it to be--code of chivalry and all. If you were a son with the proper family linage, you were knighted when you came of age--provided they could afford it. You didn't have to do any thing noble to prove yourself. And it seems the chivalric code served as mere suggestion as to how a knight should conduct himself. After all, we're told time and again in Arthurian literature that Lancelot was the greatest, and yes he was quite good at jousting and fighting and all. But morally?
