about 50 years.
Wind power has been used for thousands of years, dating back to ancient civilizations that used windmills for grinding grain and pumping water. Modern wind power, in the form of large-scale wind turbines for electricity generation, has been around since the late 19th century.
they have been around since about 1789 when there were stories of blood sucking monsters
I believe the Chinese culture has been around about 3,700 years.
Slavery has been around since the 1600's and is still going on.
1100 years
hydro electric power has been believed to have said that it lasts for around 50-70 years
As long as you have rain, yes.
about 50 years.
Too long. Damns built will most all double as hydroelectric power plants. But there could never be enough power from hydroelectric to make it a soloution.Fusion power will become a reality long before this. Which isn't too far off anyways. 2012 look up the ITER facility in Switzerland.
This is renewable energy, it uses water to push the turbine that powers the generator that makes electricity, so as long as there is water there will be Hydroelectric power. :)
how long has deforestation been around
As long as guns have been around.
More reliable than most other forms of electricity. Water flows down hill. As long as the lakes and rivers that are feeding the hydroelectric station don't dry up, they will always generate electricity. You will never run out of gas or uranium or coal to power the plant.
There is usually a large one off initial capital outlay, for example to build a dam. After that the electricity produced is almost zero cost You will usually be sued also, but it is too clean to turn down.
There are 3: Glen Power, Danny O'Donoghue and Mark Sheehan.
Hydroelectric energy can vary in cost depending on factors such as the size of the project, location, and infrastructure requirements. While the initial costs of building a hydroelectric plant can be significant, the operating and maintenance costs are generally low compared to other energy sources over the long term. Additionally, once the plant is up and running, hydroelectric energy can provide a reliable and sustainable source of power.
As long as So Random has been around.
