5 cents
From what I've read, Ivory soap was about 10 cents.
In the early 1900's a cow could be purchased for around $15. Many milk cows were sold for around 3 cents a pound. Beef cattle and cattle for breeding sold for a little more.

The average salary for men in 1950 was 2,992.00. The coast of a loaf of bread during this time was 14 cents.
About 24 cents.
Is worth 24 amercian cents
Zero. Sorry. In 2002 one schilling was about 10 USA cents, but Austria joined the EU common currency and now the Euro is the "coin of the relm". Schilling coins can no longer be exchanged for "cash". But a schilling coin DOES make a good keepsake! ;-) Wrong. Schilling coins (and banknotes still in circulation at the time of the Euro changeover) can be exchanged indefinitely for cash at the Austrian Central Bank. I wouldn't bother making a special trip, though -- one schilling is worth about EUR 0.07, or roughly one U.S. dime.

The currency in Nairobi, Kenya is the Kenyan Shilling. The symbol for the Kenyan Shilling is KES and the currency code is KES. It is divided into 100 cents.
In 1843, the valuation of one schilling varied depending on the specific currency system in use, but generally, one British shilling was worth about 24 American cents at that time. This means that for every schilling, you would get approximately 0.24 U.S. dollars. However, due to historical exchange rates and economic conditions, this value could fluctuate.
The value of a 1991 Austrian schilling primarily depends on its condition and collector demand, but generally, it's worth only a few cents in terms of its currency value since the schilling was replaced by the euro in 2002. As a collector's item, it might fetch slightly more, depending on its rarity and condition. However, for practical purposes, it's not considered a significant monetary asset today.
