Two: North America and South America.

There are only two; North and South America.
Two; North America, and South America
Through recorded history there have been "explorers". Within the last 400 plus years, European explorers kept moving west in the Western Hemisphere because they continued to find more unexplored lands until they finally reached the western coasts of North and South America.
The western point of the contiguous United States is Cape Alava, located in Washington state. It is situated within the Olympic National Park and is known for its rugged coastline and natural beauty. If considering the entire U.S., the westernmost point is Attu Island in Alaska.
Zero continents are almost totally within the Western Hemisphere. The Americas are the only continents that lie entirely within the Western Hemisphere, while Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia are located mostly in the Eastern Hemisphere.
The continents north and south America lie within the western hemisphere.

North America & South America are the continents which lie totally within the western hemisphere.
North America and South America are continents that are almost entirely within the Western Hemisphere.
Only 2 continents, North America and South America, are mostly within the Western Hemisphere. Only the Aleutian Islands of Alaska extend into the eastern hemisphere. By technical definition, parts of western Europe, western Africa, and Antarctica are in the western hemisphere, as well as islands in New Zealand. The western hemisphere includes all areas west of the Prime Meridian at Greenwich, and east of 180° longitude (roughly the same as the International Date Line).
North and South AmericaThe two continents completely within the western hemisphere are North America and South America.

There are seven continents and four hemispheres. Here are the locations (this may all make more sense if you see it on a map): Africa stretches through both the Northern and Southern hemispheres, as well as the Eastern and Western hemispheres. Antarctica is in the South Pole, and within the Southern Hemisphere. It extends through the Eastern and Western hemispheres. Asia, like Africa, extends through all hemispheres. It is mostly within the Northern and Eastern hemispheres, but part of it (Indonesia, which is considered a part of the Asian continent) goes into the Southern hemisphere, while another part, Russia, extends through the Eastern hemisphere, and onward to the Western hemisphere. Australia is within the Southern and Eastern hemispheres only. Europe is mostly situated within the Eastern hemisphere, but entirely within the Northern hemisphere: the United Kingdom, France and Spain stretch into both the Eastern and Western hemispheres, while Portugal and Ireland are completely within the Western hemisphere. North America is situated entirely within the Northern hemisphere, and it also within the Western hemisphere. South America-- the equator crosses through it, so it is in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres, and entirely within the Western hemisphere. I enclose a link to some maps of the continents and their locations.
