The ideas that were borrowed from the Greeks to rome was their religion the all believed in many gods and goddesses and then went on to only believe in one god or goddess, the also took their arts, literature, and language from the Greeks.For example many of the roman myths and legends are taken from the Greeks, eg, the stand of the 300 Fabii (Italian) shows resemblance to the stand of the 300 Spartans (Greece) this is mostly due to the Historian Livy replacing blanks in his history.

They stole Greek teachers to teach their roman kids, they 'borrowed' the greek ideas on philosophy... The Roman built the aquaducts. Big deal.
