Just Little Kids Believe In Hell Is A Bad Word Maybe 7 Year Olds Do.
"I found Rome a city of brick and left it a city of marble." -Augustus when Augustus took over Rome, it was in really bad condition, but through his reign he improved Rome and was able to restore it to what it had been in the early reign of Caesar and improve it further. When he started his reign, conditions were bad (bricks) after he restored it, it became marble. Marble is also a very sturdy stone and also refers to how he strengthened Rome.
The Roman Catholic Church was the head of everything and held together Europe during its bad times. But once things became better and people started thinking more that's when other denominations started appearing like the Lutherans and other Protestant churches.
My theory is good and bad. I also think it was more for the bad but its an opinion.
From the Old French 'croissade', meaning '(war) of the cross' i.e. a Christian campaign. That's why Muslims get the wrong impression when we in the West talk of, for instance, a crusade against bad parking!
There are no bad words. Languages need words for all sorts of reasons, and profane language is created for much the same reason scientific language is created - because it is needed by some sections of a society. A word is a profanity because it offends (or it is intended to offend), or mocks a portion of that society, and once it loses that ability it ceases to be profane.
I donโt know but I disagree with hell being a bad word it is just the name referring to the devils kingdom. itโs like saying heaven is a bad words ๐๐๐ผ Lol
What are you five? Who the hell asks these questions?? Well guess what ! SCREW YOU. It is not a Bad Word. If yo say it to your friends, they don't really care but when you Yell SCREW YOU! to some one like your teacher it is disrespectful but still, it not a bad word
It really depends how a teenager(specifically 12-13 year olds) says it. If you say it like as "go to hell", hell would be considered an offensive word. However, if you say it like "hell yes" or "hell no", it wouldn't be offensive at all, nor cause harm because you are not saying it directly about another person. At 10 years old, hell is a pretty bad word choice but at 12 or 13, hell might seem not offensive. After all, hell isn't that bad of a word, unless you have abusive parents.
Ask your parents!
saying bad word instead of good words saying bad word instead of good words
"hell" is not considered a bad word in the same way that profanity or obscenities are. It may be offensive to some people due to its religious connotations, but it is a commonly used word in everyday language.

Circumlocation is not a word. Circumlocution is a word meaning a roundabout or ambiguous figure of speech. It is used often when a word isn't known but it's attributes are. It is also used to get around saying a word directly, for example: "where the bad men go" in place for Hell. In a sentence it is a noun: "He avoided the question by answering with circumlocutions."
