It would depend on the contract the nurse is held to. In general though many nurses and others in that profession do get paid time and a half for working holidays.
That depends on your employment contract. My contract says twice normal hourly pay, my daughter has no extra for working holidays. Ask your employer.
yes
In most instances it would mean 5 working days, not including holidays.
Walmart does not pay time and a half for holidays. There are six paid holidays a year which Walmart pays for. If you work that day, you'll get paid double, once for your hours worked, once for the holiday. But they like to give their associates an extra day off on holiday weeks, so you get the same number of hours you normally would.
what are the holliday days paid at 7 eleven
I'm sure most McDonald's pay employees extra on public holidays. How much extra depends on local laws. In New Zealand, for example, public holiday laws require employees to be paid time-and-a-half and a day in lieu if they work on public holidays. That means a employee working on the national minimum wage of $12.75/hr working on a public holiday must be paid $19.13/hr, and that employee is entitled to an extra paid day off to be taken in the future (normal holiday-time negotiation conditions apply)
nurses get paid about 40,000 in 2 weeks
In Ireland, nurses are entitled to annual leave as part of their terms of employment. The general entitlement is 4 working weeks of paid annual leave per year, which equals 20 days for full-time employees. Check latest nursing jobs in Ireland @ xpresshealth.ie
