Samoans celebrate by inviting international dignataries, raising the Flag, performances - dancing, etc, etc, competitions, longboat racing, international acts are brought in to perform singing, dancing, etc, etc, using Samoans well known singers, dancers, wrestlers, sports people to perform, etc, etc.

We also celebrate Flag Day; we host many parties, sports, dances, and competitions between villages, schools, and churches. Our 21st year of life is another major day in a Samoan's life so we celebrate it with a huge gathering of family and friends with a feast that'll feed a whole village, which is a basically the point. We are given a wooden key with our picture on it. It's about as big as a toy rifle.
