If you are planning to decorate your new house, start with the rooms where you are likely to be most of your time such as the Master Bedroom, Living Room and Kitchen. Keep the bathrooms, halls, and dining room away for now.

Do the decorating projects first before you move, repainting the walls. This will dry up in a day and when you move the furniture into the room, you won't have the need to move again until you finish the job.

Other things to transform are the installation of closets and floor to ceiling wardrobes. These can be installed by DIY enthusiasts. Hanging a rug on the wall will change the appearance of the room before they are very noticeable.

Bathrooms, kitchens and walls are some problem areas which cannot be redecorated or moved without checking local planning regulations.

If your bathroom needs a spruce up, try to scrap out old grout which are between the tiles and replace with a color of your liking. Replacing toilet seats and towel rails is another easy project when decorating your new house.

Hope this helps.
