Santa Claus has elves who make the gifts for him. When Christmas Eve comes Santa delivers them to good little boys and girls by going down their chimney. If the family doesn't have a chimney he gets into the house with a magical key that can open any door.
on the night of Christmas eve
Good question. I am a parent and I give my kids presents. I can only speak for my self, I think. The best thing to do is check the label. If it says Santa, great. My wife and I always label our presents as from us. If you want to be sure who the presents are from, tell your parents that you want them to label presents they are giving with their names and not write "From Santa". Then, any presents that says "From Santa" ... hmm
they both give presents to kids
If you are good santa will give out presents in norway.

You put presents in the stockings and "Santa" puts them under the tree.

Santa Claus is part of Christian folklore. There are some Christians in China and their kids may get presents.
As Santa Clause is not real, kid's parents put the presents under the tree and in the stockings while the kids are sleeping.
