The story of the birth of Jesus Christ can be read of in the New testament, however the proper timing of his birth is written clearly in Luke 1, in relation to the course of Abia (See Zacharias), The timing of that course occurred in during the summer.

Both Mary and Elizabeth were daughters of the house of Aaron (Priest line of Levi)

Their courses were defined by David 1 Chronicles 23 (also 1 Chronicles 27) ..

There were 12 course, each course was 2 weeks in length and each course reoccurred twice in a year, resulting in 48 weeks.

Remember that upon the feasts (Leviticus 23) all priests would have serve in the temple, which explains the missing 4 weeks of the year.

According to Luke 1, Elizabeth hid herself for 5 months, afterward Mary met Elizabeth during her 6th month.

Its believed by many scholars that the 6th month mentioned concerning Mary, occurred during the month of what we now call December. Therefore Jesus Christ was born 9 months later in what we now call September or from the biblical calendar, the 7th month.

The proximity to solar events is interesting when concerning this time frame as it aligns with the winter solstice and the fall equinox.

Jesus Christ would have not been born in the 10th month of the year

Biblical numeric's can assist with understanding what numbers represent in biblical text, as can the understanding of both the Solar calendar and the Hebrew civil calendar.

Therefore there exist quite a bit of math related to figuring out when the course of Abia (Abiah in the Hebrrew) occurred and how that related to the timing given concerning Elizabeth and Mary and of course the birth of Jesus Christ.
