The flag should be flown on Memorial Day because displaying the flag on this holiday we have set aside to remember the more than one million men and women who have died in defense of our Nation.

The U.S. flag is traditionally flown on several special days, including Independence Day (July 4), Memorial Day (the last Monday in May), and Veterans Day (November 11). It is also displayed on National Flag Day (June 14) and Thanksgiving Day (the fourth Thursday in November). Additionally, the flag is flown at half-staff on certain occasions to honor those who have passed away.
On Memorial Day, the flag flies at half staff for only the first half of the day to honor the war dead. At noon it is raised to full staff to show that the nation lives.

The 0932 isn't the number of the flag. It is the time the flag was flown over the USS Arizona Memorial.
On Memorial Day many Americans gather together with friends and family to swim or barbecue. Some remember those soldiers who have passed away by visiting grave sites and the American flag is flown at half mast all day. People attend parades and Memorial Day fairs or go on a vacation to a nearby destination. Also, amusements parks are always full during the holiday weekend.
It's half-staff, not half mast (I made the same mistake earlier today). The United States Flag Code calls for the U. S. flag to be flown at half-staff only until noon only on Memorial Day. Every other day on which the flag is flown at half-staff, it is until sunset.
On memorial day.
