Yes. It has to be done, in order to keep in line with the time Earth takes to orbit the Sun. It is not exactly 365 days, so without leap years our calendars would slowly go out of sync with our year as experienced by our seasons on Earth. So it is not just a good idea, but an essential one.
A good way of remembering a leap year is the year which the Olympic games is on or every Olympiad.
It is 2012, 2012 divided by 4 (for every four years a leap year happens) 503. if you want them since the first leap year, you're out of luck.
ask my freind
3080 will be a leap year.
It will probably be 2400! That really is a good question.
1776 was a leap year
No. If the year number can be divided by four then it's a leap year. 2012=Leap year.
16 inches
Yes 2016 is a leap year.
2112 will be a leap year. If you meant 2012, then it too was a leap year.
no,the next leap year is 2012!No, it is not a leap year.
365.... Every year has 365 days except for leap year. Leap year always falls every four years. The next leap year is 2012. A good way to remember when leap year is going to be next is that it always falls on the same years as the Presidential election in The United States, and always in the same year as the Summer olympics.
