Nylon is generally stronger than cotton due to its synthetic nature and ability to withstand stretching and abrasion better than cotton. Nylon is also more resistant to damage from chemicals and sunlight compared to cotton.
Cotton clothes do not get charged with static electricity as much as nylon clothes, as cotton is a natural fiber that does not generate static electricity as easily as synthetic fibers like nylon. Nylon fabrics tend to build up more static electricity due to their composition and structure.

cotton dries faster than nylon because of cotton is a material which absorb water faster than nylon that is why cotton dries faster than nylon
Nylon is a synthetic material (means the fibers its made of are mainly a type of plastic), and cotton is a natural material. It's better to wear a cotton shirt on a hot day because it breathes (air can get in and out of the fabric), whereas the chemical makeup of nylon keeps the air from moving through the fabric. Basically, cotton will keep you cooler on a hot day than nylon will.
The main differences between a nylon flag and a cotton flag are their durability and appearance. Nylon flags are more durable and can withstand harsh weather conditions better than cotton flags. Cotton flags have a more traditional look and feel, while nylon flags have a shinier, more modern appearance.
Nylon is not typically used for bath towels as it is not as absorbent or soft as materials like cotton. Cotton is the preferred material for bath towels due to its softness, absorbency, and durability.
Nylon is warmer than cotton because it is woven tighter tighter than cotton.
on my opinion. nylon fabric is expensive than cotton because of the processes the nylon under goes and for the fact that nylon is a synthetic sustitute for cotton thus it uses synthetic matterials which adds up the cost of the nylon fabric
Assuming the nylon or cotton is being use as a filler, cotton is definitely better. Nylon consists of long molecules that don't adhere well with the resin. It is also expensive. Cotton, on the other hand is cheap and has a "rougher" molecule. The resulting flox can be used to reinforce structural areas such as flanges, fastener mounts such as screws and rivets. Nonstructural filler can be made with certain polymers or glass micro balloons. This type of filler is much lighter than cotton flox.
They absorb large amounts of water and dry quickly
