no i do not believe so... Lutherans do things more as a symbol where as catholics do it because we believe that it truly is
No, it is not the same process.
Mostly all NON-Christianity religions does not celebrate lent, such as Jewish and Muslim, but still many different religions do celebrate similar observance to pre indulgence prior to "fasting", for soul/body cleansing. Buddhists do celebrate "Buddhist Lent" but not for the same reasons as Christian Lent.
Actually it is. I'm a catholic myself and my family is too, and we care about it probably the same amount all the other religions do too.
They don't. Baptists do not observe Lent with the same reverence that members of the Roman Catholic, Lutheran and some levels of Anglican/Episcopalian churches do. Also, it would be an improper use of the word "celebrate". It is more an "observance", that is, a time of reflection on the depth and greatness of Jesus's sacrifice for us.
Lent ends the same day every year. Easter Sunday
in both we honor god.
No. Lint is pronounced with a short i like ick , and Lent is pronounced with a short e like bent.
The majority of Afghanistan is Muslim, therefore they do not do Lent. Muslims do not do the same practices as Christians.
Catholics have picnics in the same places everyone else does - parks, etc.
Both religions believe in God.
No.
Oh no they are quiet diffrent, catholics have made Mary a god. Christians of the Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church, Oriental Orthodox Church, Anglican Communion, and Lutheran churches believe that Mary, as mother of Jesus, is the Mother of God
