Well for a friend I would get them something I know they will love like: CD, take them out for a movie, candy, gift cards, or money.

If it's for a family member, I would also get them something they will love and maybe use all the time like: Coffee mug with there first initials on it or their favorite color, jewlery, or a gift card.

If it was for a boyfriend/girlfriend, I would get them something they will love and always remember you by, like a picture of you and your boyfriend/girlfriend, a neckless, or a kiss from your heart.
