They receive presents for their birthdays, christmas, children day and sometimes for their "Saint Day" if a children was named after a catholic saint, which have their own names on each calendar day.
Children's Day in Uruguay is officialy on January 6th but informaly that date is known by Uruguayans as Epiphany and one Sunday in August is commercialy Children's Day. Usualy parents and ,maybe another relative too, give their childrens presents on January 6th and also in August. Sometimes some adults also receive presents on January 6th but never in the Children's Day celebrated in August.
Yes. Some adventist children do get Christmas presents. However they do not consider Demcember 25 as the actual birthday of Jesus as this date remains officially unknown.
Depending on which way you crossed it, you either get presents twice for going into yesterday, or none for going into tomorrow. I disagree. You should get presents for turning a new age, not for having a birthday.
"Fecha" is Spanish for date (as in "date of the month", not as in "to go on a date")
In Holland, children traditionally open their presents on December 5th, the eve of Saint Nicholas Day, known as Sinterklaasavond. This celebration involves the arrival of Sinterklaas, who brings gifts for children, often accompanied by festive activities and treats. While Christmas is also celebrated, the main gift-giving event occurs on this earlier date.
"Date" in Spanish can mean both "give me" (as in "Date prisa" - hurry up) and "date" (as in the calendar date).
