Chinese people don't really wear anything special. They do wear red on Chinese New Year though. That is the only special outfit they wear that is the closest to Christmas.

Even though Christmas in Australia falls in mid-summer, people with a special role, such as Father Christmas/ Santa Claus, etc, still wear those traditional (and very hot) suits.Everyone else just wears normal clothing which, in Australia in December, is shorts, short-sleeved shirts, and sandals or thongs for footwear (thongs having a quite different meaning in Australia to that known in America).
People in the United States do not wear special clothes for Christmas. Some might dress up a bit, but most wear clothes they would wear any other day.
