I have an engagement ring that has the markings, 801., 90PLAT, 10IRID.*, and is set with a 14K gold mark in yellow gold with a diamond that looks to be very high quality and has a silver colored 6 prong holding the diamond in place. I understand that the 14K signifies the gold content, I am also thing that the 90Plat signifies that the prong setting is possible platinum, and possibly with iridium signified by the 10IRID.* mark.
What does the 801. signify ? I would greatly appreciate anyone that could take the time to enlighten me on the markings significance as well as if it signifies a high quality ring and as rather expensive one at that.
Thank you in advance for any help on this. Also, I wish for each of you the best of health, happiness and prosperity in your life.
