I say Chanukah! It is a fun Jewish family holiday. Lighting the Menorah with your family standing around nibbling on Latkes, and then playing dreidel as white sparkling snow falls outside your window. The Chanukah Menorah is lit by the head of each household. In some households, every person in the house lights their own Menorah. In other families, only the children light it.
The first day of Chanukah is Kislev 25, which that year corresponded to Saturday, December 12. The first Chanukah candle was lit just before the Shabbat candles on Friday afternoon, December 11.
