Bingo!

Roman Catholic AnswerThat kind of depends on what kinds of activities you are looking at. If it is the sacraments, the second most celebrated sacrament is confession. Confession, as with the Eucharist, is one of those sacraments which may be repeated as often as needed, or wanted. Activities which are not sacraments, first you have to look at sacramentals, then at other activities. Sacraments include things like private prayer, stations of the Cross, Adoration, etc. These are very individual things, one person may go to daily Mass, and daily Adoration. Another may pray the rosary each day, etc. It depends on the person. I should thing that of the non-sacramental things, prayer would be far and away the most popular devotion of Catholics. If you are just looking at all activities, then you would have to look at each individual parish. My parish has perpetual Adoration, and there are always people in the Adoration chapel 24/7. We have all different kinds of meetings in the parish hall, usually something every night. Again, it depends on the individual, and the particular parish.

Why are Catholic Churches usually ornate?

Roman Catholic AnswerNot all Catholic Churches are ornate, it depends a lot on where it is, and who built it. For instance, several religious orders: the Cistercians, the Cistercians of the Strict Observance (Trappists), the Carthusians, the Camaldolese; and some cultures build very austere or simple Churches. The Gothic style which was so popular in Europe and in American earlier in the twentieth century was much more ornate and it was done primarily to give greater glory to God, and, to a lesser extent, to teach the people. Remember that printing presses were not invented until the last several centuries, and that for the vast majority of the Church's existence since Jesus commissioned her to teach all nations, she had to do so with no printed books, so she did so in sermons written in stone, pictures, statues, paintings, etc. The many statues in many Churches are like a family's album to remember absent family members.
