There are a number of Polish Christmas songs. Most of them are religious and some almost austere. For example, one song that is heard in every town and village is titled, The Bells Do Ring. It goes it part, Oer woods and grass and tillage, hey ding a ding, but it is actually about New Year's. There are a couple of others more to the American style, for instance, Make Ye Merry, which goes, for now is the time of Christmas, of Christmas, of Christmas, spread out over three syllables.
