What is engagement mean to each other?

It means that you and somebody else have made a plan to marry each other. Engaged means you are promised in marriage. It also means that you are going to get married and that you are one step into being married.

Engagement means that you are preparing to marry. Nowdays its more of a way of saying that you are taken and am getting ready to actually wed. As there is only limited legal reasons for marriage nowdays it doesnt have as much weight as it used to. It is a sign of your personal commitment to another and intention to marry.

Im in therapy. Engagement means different to different people. Depending on culture, religion, politic views and your own feelings. Engagement usually is a commitment showing how you feel to one another. It could also mean for some cultures becoming an adult (growing up) finacially and also mentally. But usually in place like America and the UK unless you have old fashioned parents you do it for yourself.
