The main difference between Christmas in France and America is that it is custom to burn a log in your home on Christmas eve in France. There are no other large differences that are noticeable especially in recent years.
We eat log cakes on Christmas because they taste delicious. No but for real we eat log cakes on Christmas because it represents a piece of log that goes into a nice warm cozy fire. I got this from my teacher so I am not exactly sure if this information is true.
