I usually give my goddaughter's mother flowers or a book for Mother's Day. She's one of my best friends, so I think about the things she likes. I also take my goddaughter shopping before Mother's Day and let her pick out a gift for her mom, which I purchase and wrap prettily. It's always a sweet moment when my goddaughter gives her mom a beautiful and unexpected gift!

Many children never knew their fathers or do not have contact with their fathers. So, instead they prefer to treat their mothers to an "extra" mothers day on fathers day. Just get your mother anything you'd normally get her on Mothers Day.
